We are headed to the world for our first DVC stay Sept 15th-27th and my mother is joining us at our BC part of the stay. We were able to get two studios one for her, and one for us. My question is...are there any studios that are connected by a door inside, like the two bedrooms are? I was just wondering so that I can try to get us as close together as possible and she's coming to help with the kids at night so my husband and I can sneak away.(it's our anniversary while we are there) so I was hoping they could have that door so she could have her own space while we are out and not have to be right in the room with the kiddos while we were gone out at night. Also I was wondering so I could try and call ahead a few days before we leave and get a request sent in. (not that it's gonna work, but a girl can hope) Any info would be great. Thanks guys! :thumbsup2

Studios only connect to 1 bedrooms. No studios to studios.

The best choice for your scenario is a 2 bedroom. That way you would be assured of having connecting rooms, since there are no studios connecting to studios. Even though you request to be near each other, the rooms could actually be a long ways apart....maybe even a different floor.

If you can't get a 2 bedroom, then maybe the night(s) she's babysitting, you guys can stay in her studio, so she could sleep in yours while babysitting! I know DH and I fall asleep long before our DS and DDiL come home when we're babysitting at WDW!

I think it would be a good idea for the kids to go spend the night in her studio, if she's willing to do that. That way you could fully enjoy your anniversary! ;)
