Adjoining rooms & room requests at PPH?

Are there adjoining rooms at PPH? I am planning to call today to request our room and my brother's family's room be near each other but adjoining would be ideal if that is an option.

Also, are there any other requests that you would recommend? We have standard view rooms but maybe there is a better area to request? I've heard that higher floors are better with the elevator situation. Anything else?

- Higher floors have a nicer view too, towards Disneyland will offer fireworks view at night.
- Pool IIRC is on the 3rd floor, rooms on that floor have a patio open to it. Bar is available for drinks.
- Ask for concierge service if you need assistance with any planning: transpo, parking, food, luggage prep.
- For character dining at the PCH Grill, make reservations if desired.
