As we have 5 members in our family, we will need to get 2 rooms. How difficult is it to get 2 rooms together. Will they gaurantee it?

Thanks!

Adjoining rooms are not guaranteed, they a request, and if available at check in will be granted. You may want to think of the family suites at ASMu. It is has one room with king size bed, a living room with a pull out sofa and 2 pull out chairs (twin beds) and a little kitchenette.

Good Luck & enjoy your trip!

We have 6 in our family and have never had a problem with getting adjoining rooms. It may not be guaranteed but I think when you have kids they know they need to make it happen. We have stayed at Pop 3-4 times and have needed the adjoining rooms and each time we had them.

Make sure you request CONNECTING rooms. These are the ones with the door between them. Adjoining rooms are just side by side and don't have the door between them. They could also have one door on one side of the floor and the other around the corner if you are in the end rooms.

My experience has always been that they will put you together if it is do to children but not if it is just two groups travelling together.

Good luck.

disney never guraranteeds anything unless it has too.

do you want to be close together (adjoining) - or a door between rooms to connect (connecting)?

they will try to do adjoining - but no guaranteeds

these days Disney will only do connecting when more than 4 kids are alone with one adult - if two adults - they expect you to sleep in different rooms...
very unDisney.

We've stayed at Pop a few times and had no problem at all with adjoining rooms. Request it when your make your reservations and also call about 3-5 days prior to leaving and mention it again. It's true that there's no guarantee with any request but almost always they will meet your request.

I will second that!! My family of 5 has been to the values plenty of times and have never had a problem with getting adjoining rooms!

My family of 5 just returned from a stay at Pop yesterday. I had requested connecting rooms. Our three children are adult children so they didn't need (or probably want) us sharing a room with them. We did NOT get connecting, but did get adjoining rooms. It wasn't a big deal for us, but we would have preferred connecting since we live in different states, don't see each other all that often and would have enjoyed the convenience.
