Because we have a family of 5 we enter into capacity limitations. At Animal Kingdom it is cheaper to rent two studios than it is to rent a 1BR. Our kids are very young and we would have to be adjoining. Does anyone know if this setup with a DVC rental is possible? Thank you!!

Studios are connected by a doorway to one bedrooms. If you mean is there a common interior door to two studios, No there is not.

You might be near each other but one adult would have to be in each studio and there would not be a door connecting them to each other.

Yes there are but there is no guarantee that you will get them next to each other the could be quite a distance from each other or even on different floors.

There is no connecting studios so having a door between the two is not possible.

By adjoining do you mean rooms that are next door to each other or connecting with a common interior door to both.

At Disney rooms with the common interior door are connecting rooms.

The Animal kingdom lodge may have connecting doors(unsure) but the villas do not.

At various times it's cheaper to get 2 studios and other seasons it's cheaper to get a 1BR - really a negligible difference.

Since you can have 5 in all 1BR's at AKV except the value rooms and there are no studios that connect you may just want to go that route.

Depending on DVC season, the difference is no more than around 3 points a night at the highest to get 2 studios compared to a 1 BR. If you're assuming value units, don't, the chances of getting 2 are not good and even if you did, no way to ensure they were close together and as noted, none are connecting.

I don't know the ages of your children but if one is under 3, they will allow you to have 5 in a studio, if not, I'd go for the larger 1 BR unit. You'll pick up a W/D, full kitchen, extra bath at AKV and more usable space. Those items alone are worth the price difference of $30 a night.

You'd have to book Kidani Village to get the extra bathroom. The villas in Jambo House do not have the extra bathroom. They are converted hotel rooms.
