Is it possible to get a 2BDRM Villa adjoining another studio. Bringing whole family and one friend per kid. A Grand Villa is out of reach, but we've got enough points for the 2BDRM and Studio.

Thanks

You can't get a studio that would physically connect but you can make a request for a studio that would be near the 2 bedroom. As with all requests, there is not guarantee but they usually do their best to keep parties together.

I had a situation similar to your's two different times. On one trip I was able to get the studio right next to my two bedroom. On another trip the studio was down the hall about ten rooms on the opposite side. Thnakfully we had enough adults in our group to make the second one work. They will do their best to help you but it still isn't guaranteed.

You also need to be very clear when making your requests at WDW. In the regular hotels, where such rooms sometimes are available, the staff defines "adjoining" as being nearby, while "connecting" means having an internal door in between. For your particular request, at DVC, you might get adjoining but won't get connecting (unless you take a GV).
