Hey all! We're staying at POP in September, and have 2 rooms booked. We would love adjoining rooms, fingers crossed! Is there a map or list somewhere, of what rooms are connecting that I can look at to request?

Thanks for any help! :flower:

Your best bet is to call the Main Reservation line and add a request of connecting rooms to your reservation. Adjoining rooms are close to each other and don't have the interior door connecting the two.

I agree with the others. Make "connecting rooms" your only request. Asking for specific room numbers will be problematic if those rooms are already occupied, plus the room assigner won't know why you requested those specific rooms.

Just a heads-up that adjoining and connecting mean different things to room assigners.

If you ask for connecting rooms, they will think you want two rooms that are next door to one another and have an interior door between the rooms.

If you ask for adjoining rooms, they will think you want rooms that are as close as possible to one another, but not necessarily with a connecting door. Might be next door, might be across the hall, down the hall, etc.

Thanks for the replies!! Big thanks for the clarifications! I thought they were same thing.. 🤦‍♀️

I will call! Is there a list/ map? Or no?

If you don't care where you are, I would just leave it as connecting rooms being the ONLY request. You can look at the resort maps either here https://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/pop.htm or on touring plans to see if there's a section you like.

Definitely NOT the same. I used to work in a hotel (non-Disney) and people would always yell at the front desk that they had requested adjoining rooms but they were across the hall or diagonal or next to each other but no door - so they DID have adjoining. As reservationists, we would try to get clarification, but sometimes people would mess up. OR they would ask at the desk for adjoining, and deck agents did not always clarify.

If you want the door, ALWAYS ask for connecting.

Just know that the more requests you put on, the harder to meet. IF you are making more than one, clarify the priority order so the assigner knows which is most important.
