I am having a difficult time getting the embossed K & Company paper to adhere to the Creative Memories pages. I've only tried the tape runner. Is there something stronger I can try that is still a/l free?

I put the page protector on my pages first and slip my finished page underneath. I use one photo square in opposite corners. I haven't had any problem with even my heaviest of pages. If you've tried that and it doesn't work for you try Memory Book Glue Dots. They are pretty strong. I use them to adhere buttons and charms. They are also pretty instant. No wiggle room at all.

So you use photo squares on the actual finished page? Am I understanding that correctly? Aren't the photo squares obvious (or are you using something decorative? I guess I'm thinking of the photo tape squares by CM, which I have never used). Last night I did use some transparent tape I have from 3M that I've used with vellum and that seemed to help more than the tape runner, but I'm still not completely happy with it. I think I will give that other adhesive you mentioned a try. I'm also having a similiar problem with a certain cardstock I've used. I remember a long time ago that the salesman at the lss tried to sell me some tape and said that the only 'problem' was that it wouldn't work with CM pages (or paper, I can't remember). I didn't quite listen because I've always preferred the tape runner and had no intention of buying the tape he was trying to sell me. Well now I guess I'm going to have to give him a call. Maybe that tape worked best with papers like these.

Tammy,
I'm sorry, I think I misunderstood you. I thought you were wallpapering the creative memory page with another completed page and the weight of the page was the problem. I know the paper that you are talking about and it is very beautiful. I use the clear half photo squares but they are still visible depending on the color and pattern of vellum. Many times I have resorted to using brads, eyelets and ribbon to adhere velum. My LSS is supposed to be getting a vellum adhesive. I am eager to see how it works. The glue dots are transparent but I think they may pose the same hiding problem as the transparent squares. The quality they have in their favor is strength. I'll ask around my LSS and see what others are using for K & Company vellum.

Actually the K and Company embossed paper I am having a problem with is not vellum, though I have used the vellum without problem. Eyelets would be PERFECT and would look fabulous, but I have not yet tried my hand at that kind of sb'ing. I really want to though. Just don't know anyone in my area who does it so I am going to have to invest in a good 'how to' book I guess. What I did was use a 12x12 sheet of the embossed butterfly paper and did some stuff on that page. I then tried to use the tape runner to adhere the entire page to the CM page.

If eyelets would look ok, then would brads work? They have a similiar look about them but are really easy to use. Just put a very small slit in your page (both the K&Co and the CM page), and then slide them through and open up the back.

Hmm - just had one thought, which would be a problem with eyelets too - what is on the back of your CM page, because both the eyelets and the brads would be visible on the back of the page.

if you use photo squares, they would be on the back of the page, so I don't see why they would be visible if it's not vellum.
I have found the hermafix tabs to be very good.

I always wallpaper my CM albums. I use a CK approved glue stick which I buy in bulf at Staples and I put glue down all over the CM page and attach the paper I am going to use and then
proceed to decorate.

May not be the best way, but I have not had a page come off yet.
