Additional purchase explanation

We have all of our points at OKW. (HOME) Can someone explain to me, in a NUTSHELL, what we would be able to do if I bought say 50 points at VWL? I am a little confused about the hole thing. Thank you in advance.

It is my understanding that you would only get the 11 month booking window at VWL for the 50 points you would purchase there. Your other points (at OKW) would only give you the 7 month window.

50 points is hard to deal with. Your 11 month booking window for VWL will only exist for the 50 points. You could however bank your 50 and in year #2 use those 50 and borrow 50 from the next year, giving you a total of 150 points every 3 years. If thats the plan, it would make sense, otherwise, buy an add on where you currently stay.

Something I did with our BWV add-on was to buy enough points for a preferred studio for a Fri and Sat night during magic season. So, since the point structure is the same at VWL as preferred BWV, I wouldn't buy any less then 64 points. I use these points to stretch my OKW points.
If I was planning to bank and borrow, using these points every 3rd year, I'd have bought 70 points. This would give me 210 points which equals a 1br for six nights in magic season. I hope this helps.....spruce
