Additional fast passes allowed?

My parents are considering joining us for our trip this summer. If they do, I would be booking an additional room-only for them, since they don't like going to the parks. We've never used fast pass+ so I've been stressing and anxiously reading up on how it all works in anticipation of my 60-day mark. I just read on a thread about people using extra MBs to get 3 additional same day FPs. Is that allowed by Disney? If so, does that mean my two older kids could select SDFPs for 3 additional rides to go on by themselves using my parents MBs, even though they're not linked to tickets?

3. If so, does that mean my two older kids could select SDFPs for 3 additional rides to go on by themselves using my parents MBs, even though they're not linked to tickets?

1. Yes.
2. Well, let's just say that the system does not disallow it.
3. Yes. (Assuming they are old enough to ride by themselves.)
