additional drivers Alamo question

I added my husband as an additional driver on my Alamo ressie and on the ressie it says his name and in parenthesis next to his name it says 9.99 a day, but it doesn't add it into the total? I am an insider member, should I just assume that he is free as an additional driver?

I'm in the same boat.
when I called the reservation desk I was told by the attendant, "Insiders spouse are automatically free".
Since I don't like suprise charges on my bill, I'm going to the desk and clearing it with them before I leave the lot.

you can try to modify your res. using ID 430710, this will give you free add. driver. Or, price out new rental using ID.
