I love these books! DS 6 struggled with memorizing addition and multiplication. I got these and in one week he could add anything, took a bit longer for multiplication but not bad for a 6 y/o!
The books are Addition the Fun Way and Times Tables the Fun Way. Not sure if I'll get this posting a link thing right...

The books are half price through 10-31 with code BKT1130. I did not find these cheaper than full price to order them anywhere. In watching them for the past year for my friend I've not seen much of a deal, this is great.

I thought I'd share the information encase anyone is interested :goodvibes

What did you end up getting? My daughter is 8 and still struggling with the memorization. She can do the math, just doesn't have it memorized! I'd love to get something to help!
Thanks!

Good old fashion flash cards are the best way for kids to memorize math facts. Have them make them. Writing their facts helps with memorization.

I have two older kids and I work with special needs kids. My son had difficulty with some facts. We would play a game with the cards ruling out the ones they have and practicing the ones they don't.

Also using fact families helps ease memorization.
4X2=8
2X4=8
If they know one they know both. It cuts memorizing the facts in half.

Same for division, addition and subtraction.

Although we don't write facts out much in schools. (Like 10 times each.) I think their was a reason why they did so often when back when we were in school.

I have Addition the fun way and Times Tables the fun way. I do not agree that memorization is the only way or best way to learn. I was very skeptical when I got them but he can remember so much easier, just remembering the characters and the stories that go with them. I can even add and multiply faster with them!!! (never was much of a math person) Not sure why the code didn't work, the email specifically says to share it. I will check on it and see....

I got on and added both books to my cart and put in the code and it worked. Did you put the books in? Their books, work books, cards pictures are similar, maybe you added one of those instead of the book? If you still have trouble I'd contact them with the code and I'm sure they'll figure it out.
