Adding two additional people to ADR

We are doing a Grand Gathering in September. Initially, there was only going to be ten of us, but have since decided to bring two additional kids. ADRs were already made for ten at several restaurants. We tried calling and adding additional two, but were told all were booked. Should we keep trying or just give up and book at different places?

Keep trying. Your chances are slimmer getting seperate reservations since this is the free dining period.
