adding someone to a reservation..

My son is joining us now. I want to go on and add him to our room, add his ticket, change some of our reservations now that some more availability popped up.
I went to My Disney experience and clicked add a guest. He was not one of the options (he hasn't been since 2014). The only options to add were my son in law and my oldest grandson--and the grandson is going, he is just over 3 now.
I added my son--it said there was already a guest by that name--I added anyway--and when I click add a guest he still doesn't come up.
Meanwhile, both of his names and my other daughter's name pop up on my master list (just not on "add a guest"), and it says I can't remove them (she hasn't been with me since 2012!).
On hold so far 15 minutes. No idea how long it will take as they aren't saying "your wait is...."
Am I missing something? I'd like to eat dinner LOL.

I have never waited longer than a few minutes.
I generally hang up and redial if its going to be a long wait.
I also just keep hitting 0 until I talk to someone so I don't waste time with the prompts.
