This is kind of long sorry, Me and 7 other family members have 2 rooms reservations, one of them is a baby, so the baby doesn't count towards the room. Now my son wants to go with us, One room I booked online through disney. the other I booked through a travel agent( family decided to join us after I booked mine) (and disney didn't have any rooms available.) The room that is in my name is full. The other room has room for one person. A very nice cm that I spoke to last night told me that my room was full, but to call the travel agent and see if we could add them to that one. And free dining would have been included since we were adding to an already made reservation. Well the travel agent told me today that they can't add any one. Any ideas on how to get him to be able to go with us to have a great vacation with his 3 daughters?

One option (not ideal, but it would work) is that you can add him to the room once you get to the resort. You can do this as long as there is space in the room without exceeding the room limits (and there is). However, if you do it that way he will not be on the same package as everyone else for tickets and free dining, and you will need to 1) buy his tickets separately and 2) pay for his meals out of pocket. We did this exact thing with my brother last August.

Probably your t.a. is being told that they cannot add a person to the room because the free dining promotion has ended, and all people would need to be on the same package. However, I would want to make sure that they are REALLY trying to get this for you. I am a t.a. myself, and it is amazing what you can get for your clients if you are patient and persistent. Make sure that that they have tried everything - for instance they should ask for a manager and not just deal with the person who answers the phone.

All that being said, Disney may not be willing to bend the rules and add someone to the reservation after the promotion has ended. If that is the case, your son can still come and you should just add him to the room after you check in, and pay for tickets & dining separately. You can pm me if you have further questions about doing this - as I said above, my brother decided to come along on a trip with my family at the last minute and we were able to solve a number of the issues that raised!
