Adding resale riviera to direct riviera

If you purchase a direct riviera contract for 150 or more points then buy a resale riviera contract with same use year are the resale points still restricted or can you use them all for another resort since it is considered the same membership?

The resale points would still be restricted

The points carry the restrictions so no matter what else someone owns, resale points at RIV are only good at RIV.

Only points good everywhere are direct points.

Disney changed the rules to keep more of the resale market in house.

If there was an easy work around it would defeat the purpose of changing the rules.

That having been said what was RR on the resale market.

I was able to add on direct at 180

Didn’t even look at resale.

Disney offers member exclusives at lot when they need to move product…. Can add up to a really nice savings.
