Adding QS dining plan after the fact

I think I know the answer, but just want to verify, and sorry if this has already been posted. We are going next month, and have already paid off the trip. Can I go into my reservation and add the qs dining plan, or does it have to be added before the trip has been paid off?

I think you can add it until 3 days before you check in. Disney is always happy to add more to your reservation. I would call if can’t add it online.

Pre-covid I added it multiple times after final payment and per the previous poster it was always 3 days before check in. I don't know if the rules have changed since they brought it back but generally Disney doesn't like to turn down money, so hopefully the rules remain the same.
