Adding Person with free dining

Just a quick ? There will be definately 3 of us, Two Adults and one child going on trip the end of September. My sister may want to join us, but she's not sure of her school schedule.

Can I add her to my reservation with free dining now and remove her later? How much does it cost to add someone to a room?? Does anyone know the last date to remove her? Her school schedule won't be out until very close to the date we leave?

Hi there. i believe it is $25 a nite per person extra. Also, you can add her now with the free dining however you have up until 45 days out of your trip to cancel or modify your reservation without incurring penalties.

An extra adult fee depends on what type of resort you are staying -- Value, Mod, or Deluxe. I think it is $10 extra for value and goes up to $25 for deluxe.

I had also heard last time they had free dining, that if you made changes after the date that the free dining expired, (June in this case) that there were problems with making changes. I am sure someone on here will be able to elaborate if they had this problem. Just something to keep in mind.

What would happen if I couldn't take her off the reservation in time and she didn't show up with us? Could I just use her extra one day ticket and pay the $25 per night? If the cancellatin fee would be higher than that, it would make sense for me to do that. I don't want her to miss out if she could possibly go, even it was last minute???

Don't forget you need to get her a park pass equal to the other members in the party.

We were only getting one day passes anyway, we have left over tickets. I guess the question really is, what happens if my sister isn't removed from the reservation??

kra623 according to CM when I made my reservation, you can add people after the reservation is made as long as adding them does not violate the room quantity restrictions.

You would have to pay any extra adult charges that apply, plus buy the pass.

My son who is 18 might come also, so that is why I asked.

I won't have to pay any fee, just buy the pass, because there is no additional charge for extra adults in a villa.

The CM said that the dining package would automatically apply to all of the people staying in the room, regardless of when they were added to the room.

I was told that she could be added up to 5 (or was it 4) days in advance with no fees or penalties, because we already have the pkg with free dining booked. The deadline they have (June) is only for new bookings. Since you would be adding to the package, there would be no change fee. We would also have no "extra person" fee, since only DH, DD3, and myself are going at this point. There are 4 allowed in the room we have booked at AS Movies. Of course, I would have to pay for her 1 day ticket, since we have APs, and her airfare. I hope I was given the right info....
