Adding park-to-park at the gate

So we're cancelling our Disney trip and going to Universal instead this year.

The 3rd day and 4th night free package was too awesome to pass up.
We'll be visiting the parks Feb 21-25.

We got the regular base tickets which I assume are 3 day tickets at the two day price. I'm not yet sure if we want park to park. How much will it cost to upgrade these at the gate when we arrive? Should we pay to upgrade all 3 days, or can we add it on for just the last day?

you pay the difference of the 2 day ticket to the upgrade.
the third day ticket is free so no monetary value to that ticket when you upgrade.


when you upgrade, the entire passes you bought are include for the ptp portion.
upgrade on the first day so you can use your passes for ptp all the days.

So do I have to pay the difference between a 2 day base and a 2 day hopper? Or do I pay the difference between a 2 day base and a 3 day hopper?

The latter would be too expensive to bother with

if you buy a 2 day base ticket and want to upgrade it to a ptp, you pay the difference from the 2 day base to the ptp 2 day.

since you booked a package, you should contact UO reservations and ask if you have the 3 or 4 day tickets.

when you book a package it includes the room and park tickets.

you gave dates of 5 days you will be in the parks.
so i'm a tad confused on how many days you need tickets.


do realize that whenever you make changes on a package, it usually is a $50 fee charge.

I booked the package which gives the 2 day ticket with 3rd day free. (We arrive feb 21, parks feb 22,23,24, leave feb 25)

Can I take this ticket and upgrade at the park or will I be charged an extra $50 regardless since I bought it with a package? (or does the $50 charge only occur if I do it over the phone with reservations team).
