I'm not even sure that'd sway me but it'd be much better than a regular one there.

VB was going to be a larger resort and dues was based on the number of units they planned. The resort did not sell as well as they wanted, and so the contracts that were sold before the decision to lower the units pay based on a larger resort. We do not have subsidized points.

Ok, that doesn't sound as shady as the Hawaii debacle, just a change in plans.

I wouldn't buy a resort away from the parks, to much of a risk of storm damage and higher dues. There is a reason that the cost per point is lower at VB and Aulani has been for sale direct for 8 years, there is a reason for that. Aulani can be booked at 7 months and with Atlantis going in next door, Aulani is going to have major competition and reduced views.

I would if I planned to use it routinely as for Aulani in this case. For HI I'd likely go another route, maybe Marriott.
