Adding on 2night/3days to UNI/HP

I am thinking of adding on 2 nights/3 days at Universal/Harry Potter to our 9 day Disneyworld Trip.
A few things:
Would like to arrive UNI/HP before our DW days arrival Orlando, Nov 20th PM stay somewhere cheap outside UNIVERSAL and arrive early am check in 21st, and leave Nov 23rd PM, maybe stay offsite this night and early checkin DW on the 24th leaving early am on Dec 3rd.
Whats the best way to get to cheap offsite Hotel and then onto UNI... then same for when transferring to DW?
need 2 rooms as there will be 4 adults and 4 kids..
