Adding my flights to MDE

I booked my flights on the phone with a CM after we had booked our package (something to do with my dd turning 9 before we flew so it wouldn't let us do it online).... I had lost my reservation number so wasn't able to go online and pick seats, etc., and haven't been able to try and get it straightened out until today. I managed to get my reservation code from Westjet, I printed out our receipts, etc., but it won't let me choose my seats, it says 'check-in required' but it won't let me check in online yet.

I also had asked for DME to be included and the CM said something about not being able to add it until I had my flights connected to MDE. Now how do I go about doing this? I'm so confused. And Disney chat is TOO busy right now and I can't go on hold on the phone from work. lol

We don't fly until January so I'm in no rush, I just like having all of my information correct and ready to go!!
 
HI Chelsea! I can answer all of those questions in jig time!

Westjet seat selection: You don't get to check-in until 24 hours before your flight. If you want to PAY for your seats to guarantee where you sit you can call Westjet at any time direct to do that. You can find the number on their site. I only book our seats for the flight home so i don't need to worry about finding a computer while I'm in a park!!

Magical Express: Call them directly, it is a toll-free, dedicated number that i have yet to deal with on-hold music. 866-599-0951 All you need is your Disney reservation code & your flight #.


You don't need to "link" your Magical Express to your MDE account. Once you book it you'll be able to see it listed with your resort reservation.

Just wanted to update and say that submitting that form worked, I was emailed confirmation today that we are booked for DME!! :) Thanks again!!
 
Glad to hear it. I got my ME package in the mail a few weeks after filling out the form. There's nothing I hate more than having to call Disney long distance and being put on hold. I would much rather fill out an online form any day. I don't know why more people don't know about this method of contacting ME. It certainly doesn't come up easily on the Disney website if you search for it.
 
No, you're right, the Disney site hides the toll-free # for ME -- i found it through a GOOGLE search! Also nice that it is a dedicated line to ME
