Morning,
My family will be visiting Disneyland from June 22-24 and we’re hoping to be able to make a reservation for Galaxy’s Edge, but it looks like I won’t be able to add my Military Tickets to my Disneyland account until we get to the park and get different tickets from guest services. Has anyone ever found a work around to this? Without being able to add them on my account I won’t be able to make a reservation on May 2, and don’t plan on waiting in however long the line will be the first day you don’t need a reservation on June 24.

Thanks for any info anyone has!

Are you sure you can't link your tickets to your account? Have you called Disney to ask? I used the Armed Forces Salute tickets 2 years ago at WDW, and I was able to link them to My Disney Experience and get fast passes reserved ahead of time with no problem. I did have to "activate" them when i got there, which entailed turning my vouchers in for real tickets, but apparently the ticket numbers stayed the same. I know that was Disney world, and that Disneyland has a different app, but I'm still not convinced that military can't link their tickets ahead of time. I'm planning get Armed Forces Salute tickets again this year to use at DL in October, so I'm interested in how it will work there. It is worth researching further! If I learn anything new I will update here.

Have you seen anything that said you will need to have your ticket already linked? I haven't seen/read anything that yet. We typically buy our Military Salutes the day before go into the parks.

I guess I'm thinking of anyone staying on-site has reservations despite not necessarily having bought their tickets yet, and obviously not every on-site hotel reservation is an AP holder. So, how can they expect everyone off-site to have their tickets bought in advance?

I’m going to reach out to DL, have emailed them but no response yet, just haven’t had the chance to call yet. I never had a problem at WDW with these tickets, but when I go to attach them to my profile on DL App it says it is not a valid ticket number. I am assuming there is a way to link them, don’t think they would want to not allow military to do what every other paying customer is able to do.

I haven’t seen anything that definitively says you need a ticket linked to your account, but don’t want it to get to May 2nd and when they finally announce how to do it, see that you do have to have some type of ticket attached. Also hoping they do have it is a requirement to make sure people will actually be using their reservation and not just creating one and then not going.

I was there in February and i added the number at the top of the voucher from Camp Pendelton into the app and it registered. Then at the gate the CM's were able to scan the app and activate the tickets.

My family uses military tickets and they are able to add the voucher to the app.

I received a response from Disneyland ticketing claiming that I am not able to add these to my account. They said their system is different than WDW and you can’t add to account until you validate the tickets at the park. Didn’t offer me any help on what will happen if I’m May 2 I need a ticket linked to my account to make a Galaxy’s Edge reservation.
