Adding guests to a package with Free Dining

Is this possible? We have a 2BR booked during free dining. Some friends decided to join us after the FD was over. She booked a different resort that was in their price range. I just realized that we could technically all fit in our villa (it falls within the maximum occupancy). If I added her on to our package would she get the free dining as well?

I spoke with Disney about this and got an answer. Just thought I would post it on here in case anyone else ever searches for this. Disney confirmed that you can add guests to an existing Free Dining reservation and they will also receive Free Dining.

Yes. You would be paying the extra adult fee for any adult beyond the first 2 on your reservation. I take it that because you have free dining, this is a package reservation in a DVC villa and not a DVC reservation.

I can't tell, but if your intention is to add them to your reservation so they will get the dining, but they aren't going to actually stay in your villa, then they will have to have the same tickets you have on your package. Which might be an issue if they have already purchased tickets.

I can see how my post was confusing. Yes, they would actually be staying in the villa with us and cancelling their existing room. Forgot about the extra adult fee so I'll be sure to check that out. Yes, it is a DVC villa directly through Disney not DVC.

I'm not sure they do it on villa bookings either way so I'd check with WDW. I know there is no extra adult fee for DVC bookings.

There is no additional adult fee when booking a villa through Disney. We have 3 adults in our family, regularly book a one bedroom villa and have never had to pay the additional adult fee.
