What is the best way to add someone to our room?

We are 3 people who have a package staying at a 2 bedroom Villa at the GF

we want to add one person just to the room and NOT to the package. (they have their own tickets already)

would it be an extra charge? and also would they be allowed in to EMH if we add them to the room?

thanks

The only way to avoid having that person added to the package is to add them to your room once you arrive at VGF. I do this all of the time at BLT when my best friend decides to join us for a couple of days. There is no extra person charge as it's a villa, and they'll be able to utilize EMH. Once they're added to the room, that person retains all resort privileges for their length of stay.

You can make their FP+ at 60 days if you are Friends & Family on MDE.

You know I never thought of that till you mentioned it.

They are on my Friends @ Family right now so how would I be able to do their 60 day FP+ with ours?

When you go to book yours, their names should show up on list of people to choose FP+ for. Should work just fine if they have tickets on their names. I do it all the time for friends who are local and want to hang with us when we come to town.

yes she has a ticket and If i go on right now i can look for her 30 days in advance for FP+. So you are saying when our 60 day window opens so will hers even though she is not attached to our reservation or package?

Should, yes. I book for my friends at 60 day when I stay onsite. Others on Board have done the same.

Sorry to bring up old thread but I was just on the phone with Disney for another related question and asked the CM about this just to see what they would say.

She was very adamant that the extra guest would only be able to do FP+ 30 days before and NOT 60 with the rest of us.

You think this is new rule or maybe CM didn't know what she was talking about?

Definitely works. When I booked a solo trip and DH decided he wanted to come along after all, I could make his FP at 60 days even though he had not yet been added to the room.
