Adding Friends and Family to MDE?

Hey all!

Just wondering, how I go about adding a friend and his family to MY MDE list.

At present, they do not have an MDE account. They will NOT be staying on property and are actually only visiting for 1 day.

Do they need to a) Make and MDE account and buy their 1 day tickets FIRST?
Then do I choose Add a Guest and "I'll enter their name and age" from the dropdown menu?

Any clarity/help would be greatly appreciated!

It’s easiest to just add them to your Friend/Family list and then link their ticket numbers.

Then book FPs for your complete group.

Thanks @hiroMYhero for the speedy reply. How would that work for them to pick up their "tickets", if they are linked to MY MDE? They won't have magic bands, so I assume they will need to go to a ticket window to get some sort of card that they tap to enter the park, scan for photos, and enter FP lines?

When they purchase their tickets they can choose to have the plastic tickets sent to them.

If they choose etickets, they can take their purchase confirmation to a Ticket Window to pick up their plastic tickets. As long as they have ID that matches the purchase receipt, the tickets will be issued to them.

Okay, one more question-and thanks for your patience-if I put their eticket #'s under my MDE (in their names) will their FPs automatically be loaded onto their plastic tickets when they pick them up?

All their data is linked to them in your MDE account. Their plastic ticket will provide the link to their ticket and FP data in MDE.

They will be good to go as soon as they have the plastic tickets.
