Hoping someone can answer my question. I booked a package (room & tickets only) online yesterday for next September 14-21st, 2009. If the "Free Dining" promo is offered again for next year, I was hoping to add this to my reservation. I also purchased travel insurance. If they won't let me add "free dining" to my reservation and require me to cancel my existing and make a new one, will I lose my trip insurance $?
The fine print of my confirmation says "Vacation insurance is non-refundable. Upon any cancellation, the charge for vacation insurance will be added to any applicable cx fees."
I won't be changing the dates of my trip to add "free dining", so will the insurance roll over to the new reservation?
If someone has made a package reservation w/ trip insurance online and then added "free dining" later, I'd really appreciate some reassurance.
