Adding extra driver EU/US

Need a little help in regards to renting a car.

We book from Europe and usually my dh (European drivers lic.) is the only driver but this time I want to look into adding my niece (30 yrs) as an extra driver. She has a US drivers license so will this matter as she isn't the main driver?

Has anyone ever added a US driver to their European booking?

So long as she is there in person when the car is collected then there should be no problem .

There could / will be a charge for 2nd driver ( Or more drivers )

NOTE

The main driver MUST be the person whose CREDIT CARD is used to Book the Car.

The CREDIT CARD MUST HAVE the MAIN DRIVERS name on it.
