Adding DP to online ADRs

As soon as DH suggested we go to WDW over Labor Day weekend, I got online and booked some ADRs last month. Just in case he was serious - which he was!

I don't believe I chose any of the prepaid meals, but I did do a couple that required a credit card to hold (like Cali Grill).

Do I have to go back and add my DxDP info to these reservations? Is there any benefit to doing so if it's not a necessity? Thanks!

Whether you have a DDP or not has no effect on your ADR's. Just remember to keep track of your dining credit usage.

I guess I know there's no effect, but I'm curious about a benefit? Or whether it's even possible to add the plan to online ADRs already made. I certainly don't want to cancel and rebook just to add the plan number on.

First time on the DxDP, so I don't want to miss anything!

It doesn't matter either way. Only the pre-pay meals (which you note you did not book any of) matter in this respect. It's not worth the hassle of modifying things.
