Adding dining plan...

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but, we have room only ressies with AAA discount for 3 nights @ CS. I bought our 5 day PH with water fun and more tickets through UCT (we are staying at BIL condo after DW). Now my question is, is there anyway of adding the dining plan to this reservation? TIA

you would have to add 1 day in the park onto your room only in order to get the "package" to include the DDP. This also needs to be done 72 hours before your check-in date.

Lets start with some facts

- You simply can not add Dining Plan to a room only reservation.
- Dining Plan must be purchased as part of a package, or added on to an existing package - meaning tickets (atleast 1 day per person) must be purchased as part of that package not separately from disney or anywhere else.
- You can not book a package utilizing the AAA discount through Disney, you must do that through an AAA agent.

So - To do what you want to do you must book a package with tickets and dining through AAA, making a new deposit. You will then have to cancel your old reservation (book the new one first to make sure you can get it) and get your old deposit refunded. As far as your tickets are concerned you can either just order the one day tickets for everyone and use them at another time or if undercover tourist hasn't mailed your tickets yet they might refund you so you can use the ones with the package. I had to do this once and it was no problem just a little anxiety waiting for the 700 refund to hit the card. The tickets you buy with the package can be purchased for a longer time than you are staying in that resort.
