Adding DDP to Existing Reservation

I'm sure this has been asked several times before but I can't seem to find a thread for it.

Once I have a MYW package booked can I add the DDP later on? I didn't think I was going to eat at enough places to need it but after discussing with my mom (who's footing the bill this trip), she figures it may actually be a better bet for us.

I'm hoping it will just take a call to Disney to have it added to my existing package. BTW, what number should I call to do so?

Yes, you can call Disney any time before departure and add it on- even after final payment. Disney likes you to add it a week or two prior to departure so they can get new documents to you.

It can be added up to 72 hours before your arrival date and will of course, have to be paid in full at that point. There's not really a need to wait on new paper documents, they can just email you the changes to your package.
