Adding days to military 5 day hopper?

I've been reading on another thread that it's $5 to add days to your 5 day hopper tickets. Does this include the military discounted tickets (not the 3 day military salute)? Or would you lose your discount then pay $5 for the extra days? Thanks!

They are $99 for 3 day hoppers which makes them cheaper anyway. That's $198 for 6days.

Yes the military salute are, but would like to do 7 days if possible. We will arrive on the 21st early afternoon and leave the morning of the 29th with a seaworld day in there. The 5 day park hopper is $206, so if I can add 2 days for my husband for $16 it would be worth it to us. My sons and I have APs but my husband does not.

We've been hearing reports that if you use your tickets once or more, then go add a day above 5 days, you are getting it for $5 per day per ticket. Other reports say $10 for day 6, $5 for day 7, and free for day 8.

So who knows. YMMV appears likely.

Does this apply to discounted tickets or just those that paid full price?

Thanks for this thread! I 've been wondering about the regular 5 day military hoppers too.

As I understand the 3-day salute for $99 you can 't use more than 6 in any one 7 day period, with a limit of 12 during the entire promotion. So if your a family of 3 you could use them for for 6 concescutive days but not as a family of four or more.

Oops, I missed the part about you and your son having AP.

Sidenote, 5-day adult military tickets are$217 at our base. Did you buy them a while ago or do the MWR 's charge different prices? I might need to make a phone call...
:cool1:

Our MWR tends to be a few $ cheaper then the advertised prices (the salute is $96 here) we are at Lewis.

The 3-day are 97.50 at our base. I wonder why the difference.

Sounds like the 5 day would be a $40 total difference from up here. Even with gas that's a good savings. I just have to time it with a trip to Tacoma. Thanks for the info!

About adding days - my guess would be probably not. The 5 daymilitary differ from regular. tickets as they don 't have the magic morning like the other discount tickets I think they have been talking about in that other thread. If I recall they also said "military " on the actual ticket, but who knows? I haven 't been able to find any info anywhere on this.

IME when you upgrade discounted tickets you pay the full difference in price to upgrade. I did that with AAA tickets in 2010, we had to pay the full difference between the price we paid and the gate price.

Right, but they no longer offer 6 or 7 day tickets, so no difference unless I'd have to pay the difference in a military 5 day and a dl 5 day. So I'm wondering how that works for military tickets since others are saying it's a $5 charge for the Canadian flight centre tickets.
