Adding days to a ticket

I'm hoping to buy a 1 day "plus" ticket for this trip, and then if I decide I want more days or hopping to add them after we get there. My question is, how late can we upgrade? Do I have to add them before I use the 1 day? Or before the end of that first day? Or can I wait until the next day?

One day "plus" tickets costing about $120. apiece...

As I was told, you can add more to the ticket provided it has not expired (was used more than 14 days ago) and it is not exhausted (all the days and plusses used up).

In your case, if you went to a theme park yesterday but had not visited a water park yet, you can add more to the ticket.

(For non-expiring tickets, different dollar values apply for trading in the remains if the ticket was used more than 14 days ago. Unused plusses have zero dollars' trade in value.)

So just to clarify. If I buy a 1 day "plus" ticket for my 4 night 3 1/2 day stay I can use 1 plus to go to the water park on day 1, and then go to the M.K. on day 2, and then on day 3 choose between going back to the water park with one of our remaining pluses or buying another day at a main park?
