Has anyone ever added another person to your adr's after they were all made? I am thinking of asking my step-granddaughter to go along on our March trip. We have ressie's for 7 now. Could I do this without much trouble or would they cancel me out on some? :sunny:

I would like to know also as this might be for me as well.

Also how about adding to room for DVC members as well Neice is undecided if going .We have 2 bdrm with just 5 so thats not an issue.

I did a few times for one trip. I had to book new ADR's (PS's at the time) and cancel the old ones. I don't know if this is the only way or just the way the CM wanted to do.

Generally if you are increasing from an odd number of people to an even number is should not be a problem, as most restaurant tables are designed for an even number of people. As an example, normally both three and four people would be placed at a table designed for four.

However, if you are increasing from even to odd you may have a problem as a bigger table than reserved would be required.

7 to 8 usually shouldn't be a problem - like if you are currently reserved at 2 4 top tables. If you had from 6 to 7, then they'd likely need to cancel a current ressie - because then you'd likely have reserved either a 6 top or a 4 and a 2 top, and they'd need to find a new table.

If there is ever any question as to how many people you may have, I'd book for the larger party size and just let them know at check-in how many you have. I'd not show up with more people, though (unless it's last-minute).

I just booked ADR's and asked about varying party sizes and the CM said to try to book for the bigger number, it's easier to go down than go up.

That having been said, you may have to be flexible on your times, but they will probably be able to accomodate you if you call back to change.
