We leave in 26 days and I just realized that I need an additional day on our park tickets only. We have already paid the packages off. Does anyone know if this can be added on once we get there and if so, would it be the same difference in that is shown on the Disney website, which shows approximately 3.20 a day for park hopper passes.

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can add a ticket! We just did 2 days ago and we leave in about 5 hours. Just give them a call and no more worries! Not postive about after you arrive.

You can alter you package to add days to your tickets without paying a penalty. Disney is always glad to take more of your money. :) You can also wait until you get there and you can add days to your tickets anytime as long as you do it within fourteen days of there first use. Adding days to the tickets can be done at guest services at any park. Or by the lobby concierge at your resort.

That's a good FAQ. The tip about using at least one day of a discounted ticket before upgrading is really good to know.

Thanks!

We are heading down in 6 days and I realized we need an additional day. I contacted disnery reservations and I could add an extra day on the phone, BUT would have to pay $15.00 cahrge to add the day. Or, I was told, I could add and extra day when we arrive which sould cost $5.00 per person for the extra day.

You may have gotten a misinformed cast member. The cost to upgrade is the same whether you do it before you arrive or at the resort. Is it possible that there are three people on your reservation? B/c that would explain the fifteen dollar increase to package costs. Everyone on a package has to have the same ticket type. But once you arrive at the resort you can upgrade any or all of the tickets on your package in any way that you see fit.

You might prefer to hold off adding the extra day until you are sure you will need it, for example on your way out of the park the day before when your ticket is now used up.

(You can still add days even if the ticket is completely spent, provided it is within the 14 days of first usage.)
