I have a trip booked with a friend for free dining, another friend has decided she might want to go so if I add a third person and she ends up not going can I just leave her on the reservation and use her dining credits?

Hmmm, ive often wondered why people havent cracked on to this!! For an extra $75, you can have another set of meals for your length of stay.

IMO, it is wrong and immoral and something i would never do, but each to their own i guess :confused3

Edited to add: Not that im saying the OP would do this!!!

No.
For free dining the CM will ask to see all parties on the reservation when you check in to avoid adding phantom guests..
Also, if you leave her on the reservation, you will be paying an extra adult charge per night, and for her park tickets.

shoes99 Thanks for the answer, do you know if I can add her at any point or only during the free dining booking period? I will wait and see if she can go or not before I add her on.

More than $75, remember, if the 3rd friend is an adult the OP still has to pay the extra $10, $15, $25 A DAY for having more than 2 adults in the room (depending on resort). If it's $25 a day, there really isn't much of a savings by leaving the 3rd person on.

You can add her up until three days before you arrive. Two years ago I didn't add my husband until three weeks before we left. He couldn't make his mind up if he was going or not.
