Hello,

I am wondering how to add an extra person into your room while you are at WDW?

I will be staying 1 night in POP and then I will be joining my parents for the next 6 nights at POFQ. They will have already been there for a week. I am joining as a surprise for my mom, so only my dad knows! She will not know until I turn up so that’s why we can’t add me now, we don't want her to know at check in that another person is turning up.

We called the resort and they just told us to call back 10 days before to ensure we got 2 queen beds in our room.

We have added someone to our room in the past at POR at the time of check in and it was something like an extra $5 a day, but this was quite a few years ago now.

Anyone done anything similar or have any advice?

Your dad can add you when you arrive. If you already have park tickets then you are fine. The extra nightly charge for you would be $15 at Port Orleans French Quarter.

I am calling to make room only reservations tonight and will make it for only 2... me and my DS. My DD may join us next Fall and may not. I will add her in time for us to get FP+ if she is coming along.... staying at POR and we will have the same room configuration regardless

I had a guest stay 1 night with me in Disney in September. Didn't add her on or anything. Didn't cause any issues.
