So the DW and i are going October 11-15 staying at PPH concierge with theme park view. We booked our flights room and tickets all through the Disney website back in Janurary. And now we want to add another day, why? Because we like to make our life difficult and throw a monkey wrench into our plans.

Has anyone done this? We checked the flights from LAX to Detroit and it has the same filght schedule as the day before. I want to do this as soon as possible so our room isn't booked on the day we are to leave. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

How many days do you have already, and how many are you looking to add?

We will be arriving Thursday the 11th and leaving Monday the 15th. But would like to leave on the 16th

Are the 11th and 15/16th days you are going to the park?
As far as the tickets you have now, how many days are they for?

If you currently have a 5-day park hopper, you may or may not be able to add a day to it.

We have 3 day park hopper and do not plan on adding anymore days in the parks unless there is some stuff we didn't do and really want to.

If you have a 3 day PH, you will not have a problem adding up to 5 days. It is the after 5 days that gets a little tricky. You should be fine though if you decided to add a day.
Have fun!

There will be a fee for any changes through Disney, plus there may also be a fee from the airlines.

Yeah Damo i was thinking there has to be some kind of fee to switch flights and stuff so i guess i will just have to call and find out.

Earlier this year we tried to change flights by a day and the airline (Alaska) wanted to charge us $100.per person.. that would have added $600. to out trip. at $600. we decided to go back next year..!!

nikkislaght I like your idea because i called last night, and to switch our flights to the next day on Delta they wanted $150 for each passenger. And if you add another night at the resort it came to a grand total of $883.40 so just like you we will put that towards our next Disney vacation!
