I might add my mother to my families hotel res, but we have Ohana on my sons bday for 3 people and no reservations besides 930pm, we have 410pm, would they just add her if I called to the existing res?

Call to see if they can change it.
If you only have 3 people, it shouldn't be a problem as I don't believe they have seating for 3, usually just a table for 4.

If you have no luck I would just show up. Hopefully they won't turn your mother away. :)

In my experience, thay do not care if you show up with less people, but they do not like it if you show up with an extra. This happened on my birthday a few years back, last minute, and we switched from Askerhus to Garden Grill. Of course, this depends on the restaurant. I always call, or stop at Guest Services at my hotel, if I need to add a person. I have always been thanked for this. Seating at some restaurants is exact, and might save you a longer wait, if you show up with that extra guest.

'Ohana is an outlier in this case. They actually do have tables for 3. We are a family of three and have been seated at these tables. OP should definitely call or keep checking online. OP, you could also try the Touring Plans reservation finder to see if you can snag a table for 4 through that method.

Also try making a reservation for one or two close to your time. If you get one, ask to be seated together when you arrive. You will not be penalized if only one of the "two" shows up, but because of those three-tops mentioned above, your fourth person might be turned away.

if you try just showing up be prepared to wait well past your Ressie time when trying to add a person. when we were there we were seated ahead of a family who had been wait because they didn't count an infant in count. they ended up waiting over an hour past their time. they watched many groups including ours seated ahead of them, they had to wait until there was an opening for their size. they ended up seated near us and mother was still complaining that they pushed tables together for our large group and we had a baby like them but we had counted her in our count. and this was at Ohana
