Adding a meal to Touring Plans.com - help!

We got a subscription to Touring Plans and I'm plugging in our reservations and planned attractions.
I want to add a meal to our Magic Kingdom day but we are eating at Chef Mickey, which is not on the list of available restaurants at Magic Kingdom. How can I add this to my plan? Does anyone know? Thanks

Put it in as a "break" - you can enter the amount of time too so that TP will be able to continue to optimize your plan.

Grrr, now it's letting me add my fast pass+ reservations but it's saying that the plan won't use them. I don't understand!!! It let me do them on my first day and now I'm trying to do day 2.

It's not that it won't let you, it's just that their system is based on efficiency. If you have a FP+ return time, then simply drag and drop your FP attraction in the menu to the approx. place and then select "evaluate" instead of "optimize". If you evaluate, then it will update the times in the column on the right instead of reorganizing everything according to when their system says it's best. Does that make sense?

Thanks, yes that does make sense. However, I AM selecting "evaluate!" When I was doing my first day I hit optimize and saw that it reorganized everything and there was no easy way to undo it so I was sure to select evaluate this time. It's still not recognizing my fast passes! It says:

This plan does not use the Fastpass+ reservation for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Using these Fastpass+ reservations may result in longer waits in line or more walking than the plan shown. One option is to exchange thes Fastpass+ reservations for other attractions or times of day, including re-riding favorite rides later in the day.

On my first day, it did let me set my own FP reservations.

When that happens, it's usually because they have the time you'll arrive to the fp attraction with your current order of things as either earlier or later than your fp window. Since their goal is to keep things optimal, they dont want you wasting time waiting for a fp window to start. If too late for fp window, move an attraction or two before it to be after the fp one, if too early, move one to before. Evaluate in between and tweak accordingly. Hope that helps.

I've not tried that yet in my TP, but maybe you can't find it in MK because it's a resort restaurant.

One other tip: If you're entering FPs for BTMRR, 7DMT, and Splash, make sure those attractions are also selected and shown in the list of steps.

When you say you've got a FP+ for a ride, the software doesn't yet automatically add that ride to the list of steps. (But that's the way it should work.) So you have to add the attractions manually.
