Our cruise is paid in full, we have two GTY rooms cat 9c on the Wonder, which have been assigned as we are about 50 days out. In one room we have two people, in the other three, Now we have a relative that may wish to join us. Anyone know if this is possible to add him to one of our staterooms at this late date?

When adding people to an already existing reservation, DCL asks 3 questions:
1) is there space in the room? (can't put 4 people in a 3 person room).
2) is there space in the lifeboat assigned to that room? (it's possible for a lifeboat to be full, even if there is an available bed in the room).
3) is there space in the appropriate kid's club? (if applicable).

If the answer is "no" to any of these questions, you can't add another person to a room.

You may be able to change rooms (usually different/higher category). And the new person will pay the prevailing rate for them, not the price they would have paid had they been in the original reservation.

Thanks, Schmoo, for your super quick response! If all answers to the questions that Disney will pose are "yes," and we don't need to change categories, then will the new guest pay the prevailing rate, or our original rate?

The prevailing rate. If you have to switch rooms to a higher (more cost) room, the original occupants of the room will pay the price that room was on the original booking date, but the new person will pay the prevailing rate.
