I have our first Disney cruise booked for January 2018. My DD is in college and trying to transfer to from a JC to University. Since I did not know where she will be and when she will start I did not make reservations for her. After reading some more; sounds like maybe I should add her now and cancel if she can't go due to room on the boat/locking in price/etc. Is that true? I tried logging on to my account and I do not see a place to add anyone; just change rooms for my current party. Can I do this online? I am in catageory 9D so it says 3 or 4 people. Last but not least; if I add her will it be easy to remove just her and leave our room and everyone else as is? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

I believe you need to call DCL to add her. One note on that - her cost will today's cost, not the price she would have been had she been on the original reservation date, if it's increased.

When adding people to a reservation, DCL asks 3 questions:
1)is there space in the room for an additional person (can't put 4 people in a 3 person room).
2) is there space in the lifeboat assigned to that room? (it's possible for all lifeboat space to be filled, even if there is space in the room).
3) is there space in the appropriate kid's club (if applicable).

If the answer is "no" to any of these questions, you cannot add another person.

Yes, it's possible/easy to cancel one person off a reservation without affecting anyone else. Just do so before the Paid in Full date for a full refund of whatever monies have been paid toward that part of the reservation (unless the reservation is Concierge).

Thank you. Luckily the cost has not went up; I looked online today. So I guess Ill call and just remove her later if needed. Thanks again!
