Could really use some quick help. I recently got the 6 day hopper for the price of 4 days and I’m considering adding a 7th day. I’m fairly certain I’d have to call MS to do so, so before I spend an hour on the phone on hold, wondering if someone could tell me how much it will cost to upgrade each ticket. My first day is June 19th (as in two weeks from now). Will I be paying the difference between 6 and 7 days? Or between 4 and 7 days, now that the promo offer is over? TIA!

Most often when a deal is over, upgrades cost what they would without the deal.

MS can’t help any more since this deal is no longer going. You’d have to call ticketing.

When I upgraded a ticket from last year that had been given the extension from Covid I lost it and only got the value of what I paid.

Good luck.

Call ticketing. You can wait in a virtual queue. You could also do it while at a park at guest services. Member services cannot help with this, but you would have to wait a very long time on hold to get that information from them.

Generally speaking, "adding a day" really means "exchanging your existing ticket for a different one." When you purchase a ticket directly from Disney, the exchange value is what you paid for it, not what you think it's worth. So, adding a day after the promotion is over is most likely going to end up costing your regular price of the longer duration ticket.

We had this ticket as well, we had 6 days and here is the deal:
If we upgraded before using the ticket, the price difference would have been from what we paid to the full cost of the new ticket.

If we used at least one day, it would have been the price difference between a 6 and 7 day ticket.

We ended up not needing to add the 7th day, but it should be noted that they couldn't even add it in person, you had to call a special ticketing number, not even the normal number or member services. It of course the day we were checking out, we heard they got their computer systems fixed to allow the in person upgrades.

I’ve thought about this more and I think what we will do is get down there and after day 1, if we want to try to add the day and pay the difference between 6 and 7 days, and park reservations are available, maybe we will go to guest services. Then I think we only pay the one day difference. If not, then no worries. I’m not going to have FOMO. We can use the day off and it will be great. 😊

That's known as "bridging" a ticket and typically applies to tickets purchased from third parities or as part of a package. I don't think that would apply in this situation, but the OP should review the "upgrade" thread over in the Theme Park forum for more up-to-date information.

Thanks - I'll go take a look over there, too.
