Adding a day to MYW passes

Hey all!

First, I apologize if this question has already been asked and answered, and I'm sure it has, but I couldn't find anything really helpful by searching for 'add a day,' so here I am starting a topic of my own! We are going to WDW this September and will be purchasing 4 day passes with the hopper option and the extras. We will have 5 days total, and we're planning on using the 'extras' one day, but if we decide those extras won't take the whole day and would like to add a day on the park tickets, what is the procedure? Do you just go to any ticket window and say 'I'd like to add a day?' Is there a flat rate for this or do they charge you the difference between a 4 day and a 5 day hopper?

Take your ticket to any ticket window or Guest Relations and they will add a day for you. Just pay the difference between 4 and 5 days.

I was wonndering this same thing sortof. I have an AP, but bought 7 day MYW tickets with the plus options for our trip in Sept in order to get the free dining. When we get down there my son and D-I-L will be using their 7 day tickets (and pluses). I plan to not activate my 7 day ticket and will just use my AP for this trip. I'll then use my AP to get myelf discounted tickets for the water parks, DQ, and PI. I will then use the 7 day MYW ticket next year for another trip after my AP expires. When I'm down there in Sept can I go ahead and pay the $9.00 or so difference and upgrade the 7 day with pluses to a 10 day with pluses, without doing anything to my son's and D-I-L's tickets? Again, I do not plan on activating my MYW ticket until next year, when I'll either use it for a 10 day trip or else appply it toward an AP.
