Adding a day to my park ticket - guest services questions

I got park tickets for DH and I for our upcoming long weekend with our package from a TA. It now turns out I'm going to be arriving a day earlier than DH, and I wanted to add one more day to my park hopper ticket. The TA says I'll need to do this at Guest Services when I arrive.

Anyway, I've done the whole process of going to guest services to add a day on a ticket before. I'm hoping to get to MK on Friday morning in time to be at rope drop for AM extra magic hours. Questions:

1. Is there any way to add one more day to just my ticket from the MDE app or on the website? (I'm assuming the answer is no, but figured I'd ask).

2. Is the only guest services window at MK the one that is right outside of the "turnstiles" (or what used to be the turnstiles)? Or is there also a window at TTC?

3. If I want to be in MK for rope drop at 8am, how early should I get to guest services to add a day on my ticket?

4. Is there any other place I could go to add on the one day to my ticket besides guest services at one of the parks (or Disney Springs)?

5. Are Disney Springs Guest Relations windows open throughout Disney Springs open hours? (i.e., If Disney Springs is open until midnight, does that mean Guest Relations is also open that late to handle ticket upgrades?) I'm arriving late Thursday evening but I might be able to make it to Disney Springs guest services that evening if my flight isn't late.

Thanks!

This was about ten years ago, but we added a day at our hotel at that time.

There is a new ticket services location in Liberty Square. It only does ticket related stuff and was empty when we went in there this week. We upgraded our tickets to annual passes in about 5 minutes start to finish. Use this location rather than the main guest services. Just go into the park with your current ticket and add a day to it.

If you are checking in to your resort the night before, ask at the concierge desk. We were able to upgrade our tickets at the Club Level concierge desk at Poly; I'm guessing the regular concierge desks can do this too? Or do as PP suggested and do it after you've entered the park on your first day. You don't need to do the upgrade prior to first usage.

1. No.
2a. OUTSIDE the MK gates, yes.
2b. There are Ticket Windows at TTC. You can upgrade tickets at any Ticket Window (not just Guest Relations.)
3. 7:30.
4. The concierge at any WDW resort can upgrade tickets (except the resorts cannot handle anything regarding Annual Passes.)
5. The new Welcome Center (the only guest relations/ticketing at DS) is open during regular operating hours of DS.

You don't have to add a day before entering the park for extra magic hours. You can stop on your way out of the park and add a day. Or stop by guest services during the day and add a day. As long as you have valid admission for the day, the extra day can be added anytime before the ticket is used up.

Usually the line at guest services outside the magic kingdom can be daunting :(

1. Agreed.
2. Yes. Guests can upgrade a ticket AS LATE AS close-of-business on the same day that they use the ticket's last asset ("day.")

No to hijack the thread, but can I convert FL resident vouchers for the tickets at the resort also?

That's the first time I've seen this question.
It seems like something that could be done there.

If you want to try it, please post back with your results.

When we were staying at Bay Lake Tower last May, the Concierge desk was not able to add a day-something about different computer systems. We had to have it done at guest services outside Magic Kingdom.

Thanks for this! Any idea if the system will somehow dump my Sunday or Saturday FPs if I enter on Friday AM and don't update my ticket until later in the day? (That's really my only concern with waiting to do this later in the afternoon on Friday or going to the location in the MK).

DVC or regular reservations?

The concierge desk CMs at all of the WDW resorts should be able to add "days" (and other upgrades) to regular WDW Magic Your Way tickets.

The kind of upgrades they cannot do regard Annual Passes.
