Adding a day to my July trip

So I am pondering adding a day to our trip this summer and making it a 6 night vacation instead of 5 day. Right now we're booked Sunday July 10th through Friday the 15th.

My question to those more experienced: How crazy busy are Friday nights at the parks in the middle of summer?

My question to those more experienced: How crazy busy are Friday nights at the parks in the middle of summer?

It is very busy but very doable. Many people get burnt out by staying in the parks while it is hot and then leave in the early evening when we are just returning. After "F" and the fireworks, there is a mad exit to get out of the parks. 2200-2400 turns out to be nice compared the rest of the day, except for MM.

Thanks for responding Jack! We are the types that like to take a break in the afternoon and then go back in the evening. We really want to do some rides later in the evening this trip in addition to WOC of F! Past trips we just did dinner, shopping, a couple of rides and fireworks in the evening but we want to get a little bit more out of it now that my daughter is older and more of a night person then she used to be.

After the fireworks 'til close is a good time to hit Fantasyland. Most families with small children don't stay that late so FL empties out pretty fast. Even during peak season, you can practically walk on to most of the rides. Except for Peter Pan, seems like that ride almost always has a line!
