Since my return from Florida and universal last month i cant stop looking at forums and updates about new rides etc for next year.


Me and the wife really plan to return Aug 2014

General break down what new rides will be open in Aug 2014

New harry potter expansion will it be finished by then?

Springfield.?

I asked the same question-we went in May of this year, returning in October,2014. Aside from the two things you mentioned, I don't think there is anything else planned to open next year. I think Springfield is open now, but you may have just missed it on your visit. Same thing happened to us with Transformers, we missed out by about 6 weeks But DF got his picture with Bumblebee, so he was happy

I bought a fast pass just for that and despicable me.

Just fallen in love with the place.

Hope the expansion will be open in AUG 2014, i plan to do a whole month there.

Updates and regular pics of the expansion and spring field would be good to

Springfield is finished. HP2 should be open by Aug 2014. Here now but I have not taken any pictures.

Harry Potter expansion should be open.Springfield is done and already open. rumors are Jurassic Park should be done by 2015 ( once the Harry Potter expansion is done) Not sure about the new Lorax ride at IOA.

I would love spend a month in the area! I'm smitten with Universal too and it's so exciting to see much happening there. We haven't seen the Springfield expansion or Transformers yet but will in December!

Sorry Metro! I got excited when I thought someone might be from my neck of the woods (aren't many of us here on the DisBoards ) , and I didn't realize it wasn't allowed. I re-read the guidelines, I get it, no hijacking general threads into "chat" threads (which I agree are annoying in general forum threads).
