Addicted to Disney?

Um...ok...let me see if I'm an addict.....

Have Disney purses, cell phone, clothing, dinner plates, silverware, cups, suvies, DF has a Mickey tat and I'm getting a Minnie tat...DS watches pretty much only Disney movies..unless they're Marvel Comic movies!!!

I'm on here whiule working, at home, ALWAYS talking about Disney, all of my screen backgrounds are something Disney, I listen to Disney music at work.

I go to bed and wake up thinking Disney...still tryin to figure out how to go there for a honeymoon in Dec!!!

So, I'm not quite sure if I quailfy for being an addict.....:confused3 :lmao: :rotfl:

I totally forgot about my Mickey tat on my right ankle. I would love to get either Minnie or Tink on my left, but DH has "put his foot down" on me getting anymore. I wouldn't say that I'm addicted. To me calling it an addiction makes it sound like a bad thing, like a drug addiction. For me it's more like a passion for Disney.

we have 3 young kids (8 and 4x2) and we have been going 2 times a year since the oldest was 4. Each time we say, were not gonna go back for at least a year but that never works.

I am ready to go back and just left Disney on Sunday, Sept 7th. I went to the pin event for the first time and loved it. I am going back for the Food and Wine Festival on Sept. 25th. My friend wants to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and now looking at a possible Nov. trip. I have an annual pass. (Standing up..) YES I AM ADDICTED TO DISNEY

Total addict here as well! Hey MMMMBop....looks like we are both arriving on the same day in Dec! I was just there in August, going back in Dec. and trying to figure out when we're going in 09....kind of waiting on P&PP dates to be annouced. Even though I only had 118 days between trips this time, it was still hard to leave WDW and I was sad and grumpy as usual. It did help that DH had surprised me with a brand new tiki bar-patio when I got home, but it wasn't the same! I have a giant WDW sticker on the back of my Jeep and surrounding the WDW is "a dream is a wish your heart makes" and on the other side, I just added a brand new DVC sticker....DH says no more stickers on the Jeep. :rolleyes1 the magic lives in every room of our home...except the loo...DH says the Mouse doesn't need to be in the bathroom! :lmao: Our entire family room is totally, 100% Disney at Christmas! We have many friends and family that come just to see all of the Disney decor!

Seriously, I am totally obsessed. I feel like all I do is think Disney, talk Disney and count down to Disney trips. I'm semi-local (2 hours away) so I'm able to get down at least once (and sometimes twice) a month, and I'm still always thinking about my next trip. Everyone thought I'd get bored of it after going so often, but it has only fueled my obsession more! I'm even more in love with Disney now than I ever was!

We're moving out of state next April, and seriously, I don't know what I am going to do! We're DVC members, so I know that means at least a trip every other year, but I don't know how I'm going to make that transition! Probably with a lot of tears and moping! :scared: It looks like we are moving to the DC area, so I'm already on-line pricing flights- the good thing is that DH totally understands and is (almost) as obesses as I am!

We've been a 'Once a Year' Disney family for the last 10 years, going usually in March for from 7 to 11 days each. On trips of that length, on the last day we really feel we've had our fill. We'd stay longer if someone offered us an extra day or two, but we're satisfied. In 2007 we slipped a 6 day Food&Wine trip in October between the March '07 and March '08 trips, and we really didn't get the sense of anticipation for that one that we do for the yearly trips. Once there, we enjoyed it as much as ever, but we weren't hopped up in the weeks leading up to it. For us, longer trips spaced a year apart seem to work best. Wifey suggested recently that we look into hitting F&W again this Oct, and when that didn't work out, I wasn't dissapointed at all. We're on for Feb 25 - March 6 2009. That reality will make the lousy PA winter days after the holidays pass painlessly.

I've been five times so far this year, and I'm seriously itching to go back -- probably in a couple of weeks.

I am such an addict. I have been to Disney over 25 times in my life. In the loast few years we have been going 2+ times a year and I still feel that way everytime. I need to move to FL:rotfl:

I am in such a "I miss WDW funk" that I am going next Tues. for on night for the MNSSHP. We had a very stressful situation here the 1st day of kindergarden (my DS 5 let off wrong schoolbus stop, missing for aprox 35 min's wandering the streets by himself till a mom asked if he was lost) Everyone Thank God is safe and sound (except the bus driver:mad: ) I have not been able to shake the whole thing. I was unable to do anything for about 3 days. I was in shock still am a little bit. Then weird things started happening. We got a $150 credit for Southwest (our flights in Dec dropped) humm now I know we will not be able to use it next year so I said kidding I should go to WDW. My hubby said why not go? My mom will be there so she has the room at POP before I knew it he had bought me MNSSHP ticket with Disney Visa points and booked my flights. I leave a 9:45am on Tues and I am back on the plane at 10:45am the next day. I added myself to my moms ressie for one night so I can take ME for free, for a total of around $50.00 out of pocket I am going to WDW for one night. I can't wait. I am calling this my mid life crisis trip.

I got this in March

I'm a Disney World addict. I don't necessarily have tons of Disney stuff in my house or wear tons of Disney clothes, but I looooooooove going to Disney World.

I'm so glad that my family enjoys it as much as I do.

Another disney addict here. We live in CA but have been to WDW 3 times this year with a land/sea booked for entire family in Jan 09 to celebrate our grandson's first trip. I've also already got May 09 booked. And we leave in a week for Paris where the highlight of the trip will be the 3 days spent at DLP.

My DH and I went September "07" and I am already too anxious to go back. But we have to wait till Sept "09". Ok let me see if I'm an addict Have Disney purses, cell phone charm, clothing, disney watches I even have a Minnie tat on my leg she is dressed in a devil suit and she even has horns.

We have a trip coming up shortly...we were there Feb and March this year already... next Feb and April are on the books as well as October for our 10th anniversary.

We started to get a lot of mail regarding dvc membership...

Yep, we are bona fide Disney addicts- just wait till we have kids!

:jumping1:

O.K. I am such a Disney Addict that it isn't funny. I work at my local DS just so I could be around the merchandise....plus get a discount. I have Disney on my mind 24/7, it is so bad that whenever my DH starts out a conversation with " I was thinking..." I always in my head pray that the last part would be"...maybe we should book another trip to Disney" then I get let down because it never is. At the store, I get so excited when a newbie comes in to buy tickets and they ask questions about anything Disney....I could talk to them all day if I could, then I get so jealous because they usually are leaving the next morning. My kids love my addiction, because they have it too, and my DH is slowly but surely getting there.

Oh, I am the same way! If I hear that someone I know or that one of my friends has a Disney trip planned for the near future, that makes me bump the dates of my next Disney vacation up a few notches when I'm planning it out. I know, this is totally horrible and un-Disney-like, but as much as I wish them a magical trip, I just can't get over the fact they they're going to be enjoying Disney while I'm sitting in math class ...

But really, I do get excited for them when they have trips and try to help them out in any way possible. :)

If anyone here says no it would be a shock!! :lmao:

I loved it as a teenager going with my parents, but it wasn't until my honeymoon where it was just the two of us that I became addicted. I came back wishing I had done more planning because we missed out on MNSSHP simply because we didn't research much of anything and didn't know about it. That's probably why I'm obsessively planning for a trip that's over a year away because I want to make sure I do EVERYTHING I want to do!! The only problem is now I'm afraid of missing something.

As far as our regular lives go, we have a Donald sketch, a print of a Cinderella Castle painting, and pictures from our trips up on the walls, a Mickey Mouse guest bathroom, and I have a really cute Mickey pocketbook. Plus both DH and I are on the DIS pretty much all the time. LoL We even made Mickey pancakes the other morning just because!!

After our trip to Disney in August, DH remarked, "That's enough Disney for awhile." He said we could go back in a couple of years or so, then added, "If you want to go back, you'll have to do it by yourself." Y E S ! ! ! I guess I got a little too excited and happy, because he then said, "What I meant is that I won't come again in July or Aug because it's too hot and muggy. Awww, I'd love a trip by myself. I have already begun making plans for the next trip, and it doesn't look like it will happen for quite awhile. But if someone offered a trip, I'd be willing to leave tomorrow!
