Add-on Waiting List

We're finally closing on our OKW resale- can't wait to be members!

Unfortunately, I've been "bit by the bug" and I'm hoping to add-on 50 points through Disney for Wilderness Lodge or Boardwalk. (OK eventually both... can you tell we're eager )

We have an April use year and would like the flexibility of combining points if needed. Any idea how long the wait might be for either add-on?

Also, what factor most influences waitlist time:
Resort, use year, number of points requested or the time of year that you go on the list?

I can't speak for April use year, but when we checked on VWL for October use year they had lots of points immediately available. This is probably not the case for all use years or all properties, but you might get lucky!

I'd recommend getting on the waiting list of one or two of the resale companies as well as DVC's list. DVC charges $92 per point. You can buy a resale - including closing costs - for less and STILL pass ROFR. Good luck!
