Add-on points

I am interested in purchasing an additional 50-75 DVC points and was wondering if my add-on points have to be in the same use year as my current points.

Also, has anyone purchased resale points from someone other than Disney? How did it go?

We have been in the club for only one year and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Add-ons purchased thru Disney will be in the same Use Year as your master contract (unless you are buying 150 or more).

Resales may be purchased for any Use Year you'd like.

Many, many people on these boards have purchased DVC contracts by resale. We have done both...through Disney and through resale.

Resale is more work, but you can save some money and that's the only way to get some of the sold out resorts. I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering DVC who wants one of the "older" resorts.
