add on during a cruise

We are on the Wonder in Jan PC cruise and are thinking of adding on. Can you do everything on the ship? What incentivs do they have?

I think you can do most things there you can do on land. It's said that often the cruise incentives are a bit better. When we went we actually signed on on land before we took our cruise but they said they would honor any incentives offered on the cruise if they were better. The land guides have no idea what those incentives are. Guides on the ship are only told when they get to the ship (which is what our guide told us). The cruise ended up having the exact same incentives so we didn't need to do anything else.

We added on when we were on the Wonder in 2008. They print up all the documents and have you sign them right there. By the tiem we got off the cruise our points were available. Not sure about if the incentives were better, they might have been the same...but I think they gave us a $500 OBC.

The OBC is probably the difference or the additional incentive. They weren't offering that when we were on board so we passed.
